Your NaCCRA Board is hard at work on a number of initiatives that will support you. 

NaCCRA just met in Boston.  The next General Membership meeting will be in Washington, DC on March 12 and 13th, 2016.  The Wardman Park Marriott will be the host hotel for that meeting.

Initiatives are underway to advance NaCCRA's advocacy with its Resident Bill of Rights; improved CCRC financial safeguards; understandable and fair contracts; integrity in accounting standards; consumer information to help guide prospective residents; and an evaluative tool to assess the comparative effectiveness of CCRCs.

Understanding, Not Advocacy

 

The aim is to let residents, and others who are interested, learn.  The hope is to try to present all points of view and all alternative understandings so that residents can think for themselves and make up their own minds according to their own personal values.

As such we do not advocate policies but instead seek to illuminate all sides of issues and all alternatives so that informed people can make better choices.
