Assisted Living Can Be Fun
CCRC living is active living; it's for young retirees and those who are young at heart. The CCRC concept is people move in in their 60s and 70s while they're hale and hearty but that the resources are their to give them a continuum of life (with a continuum of care) as their needs change over time.
Some seniors wait too long to accept the benefits of communal living and they have to move directly to Assisted Living. They may have had a stroke and need some assistance with some activities of daily living that independent people take for granted in the normal course.
The video below shows seniors in such an assisted living home enjoying themselves and making a video that they hope will go viral.
